This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Implement Azure infrastructure elements such as subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and services according to established architecture.
• Construct and sustain Infrastructure-as-Code utilizing Bicep or Terraform.
• Create and oversee CI/CD pipelines for the automated deployment of infrastructure.
• Configure networking, connectivity, and environment provisioning for both cloud and hybrid systems.
• Assist in the onboarding process for applications and workloads into the Azure tenant.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain reliability and performance.
• Enforce governance configurations, including tagging, policies, and cost management.
• Work collaboratively with architects and security engineers to ensure implementations meet design and compliance standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as the first line of support during production incidents.
• Engage in recruitment activities, including referrals, interviews, and debriefs as necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure cloud environments.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in deploying and managing infrastructure utilizing Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Skilled in configuring virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, DNS, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of API security, rate limiting, monitoring, and auditing practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Azure API Management implementation and governance.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization processes using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Previous work with event-driven architecture using Azure Event Hubs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to cultivate relationships and trust.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Capability to meet any additional requirements for applicable government contracts.
• Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• May be required to undergo a government background check or security clearance.
• Preferred experience with Agile methodologies.
