Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, manage, and enhance Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters.

• Strategize and execute high-availability solutions along with live migrations.

• Evaluate and improve the capacity and performance of CPU, memory, storage, and network resources.

• Conduct maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.

• Assist in infrastructure migrations and hardware refresh initiatives.

• Investigate and resolve hypervisor-level problems with an emphasis on long-term stability.

• Develop and sustain documentation, standards, and runbooks.

• Work collaboratively with expert teams on significant IT projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server.

• In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi.

• A solid understanding of data center architectures, including SAN, storage, networking, and backup strategies.

• Proficiency in PowerShell.

• A systematic, analytical approach to tasks, with the ability to stay solution-focused when addressing complex problems.

• Proficiency in English.

• Proxmox experience (optional).

• Familiarity with Xen/XCP-ng (optional).

• Knowledge of automation (optional).

• Experience with monitoring solutions (optional).

• Familiarity with Veeam (optional).

• Linux knowledge (optional).
