Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for Windows Server environments and essential infrastructure services.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and identity management tasks.

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user assistance.

• Manage Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity environments, including Microsoft Entra ID.

• Maintain VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, covering vCenter administration, cluster management, virtual machine provisioning, monitoring, patching, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Provide support for physical servers, storage systems, and data center operations.

• Administer backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

• Deliver Tier II/III technical support and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

• Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, applications, hardware, virtualization, cloud services, and end-user technologies.

• Implement security best practices, system patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure maintenance activities.

• Maintain technical documentation and engage in infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and clients.

• Prioritize and manage project work, escalations, and operational support tasks.

• Communicate directly with end users and clients to resolve technical issues and provide updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience in providing advanced technical support, handling escalations, and troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication, customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Extensive experience in Windows Server Administration.

• Significant experience in Active Directory management.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 Administration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.

• In-depth experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Solid experience with DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Strong background in backup and recovery solutions.

• Extensive experience with storage technologies and data center operations.

• Preferred: Experience in managed services (MSP) or multi-client environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools.

• Preferred: Experience in performing maintenance, patching, upgrades, and migrations for virtualization platforms.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, CompTIA Server+, or similar infrastructure-related certifications.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
