Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve incidents pertaining to RPC interfaces and blockchain nodes.

• Identify and address performance-related issues, including slow responses and API errors.

• Monitor system health through dashboards and logs to proactively detect issues.

• Analyze routing, timeout, and load balancing challenges to enhance reliability.

• Reproduce and test issues in a secure testing environment prior to implementing fixes.

• Maintain up-to-date troubleshooting guides, incident records, and playbooks.

• Review performance metrics to pinpoint weaknesses and recommend enhancements.

• Compose clear RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports with actionable next steps.

• Assist with deployments, migrations, and disaster recovery of blockchain systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in an SRE or DevOps role (infrastructure ownership is not mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of API protocols: JSON-RPC, REST, WebSocket, GraphQL, gRPC.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: Grafana, Loki, Tempo, VictoriaMetrics.

• Practical experience with Envoy Proxy or similar tools for debugging traffic and routing problems.

• Solid understanding of Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian) for effective troubleshooting and debugging.

• Proficient in scripting with Bash and Python.

• Skilled in using API testing tools such as Postman and Insomnia.

• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).

• Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with blockchain infrastructure and RPC node services.

• Understanding of blockchain RPC endpoint structure and usage.

• Experience in high-SLA production environments.
