📋 Description

• The Infrastructure Design Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of intricate infrastructure design projects related to municipal water and wastewater systems.

• This position is accountable for creating and implementing comprehensive project plans that consider timelines, resource distribution, and budget projections.

• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, this role ensures that project plans are feasible, attainable, and in line with overall objectives.

• Additionally, the position involves monitoring project progress, identifying risks or potential setbacks, and taking corrective measures to ensure projects remain on course.

• Provide technical guidance within the team.

• Lead the design process to guarantee high-quality deliverables.

• Coordinate design teams to achieve project objectives.

• Assist the Project Manager (PM) in formulating and executing design scope, schedule, and budget.

• Manage design resources to optimize their utilization.

• Facilitate the creation, submission, and revision of design deliverables to satisfy project requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of professional or relevant experience.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in design management is necessary.

• A Licensed Professional Engineer credential is required.

• Strong expertise in leading the design process to meet project goals.

• Highly proficient with the technologies, methodologies, and disciplines involved in the projects.

• Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities to guide teams effectively.

• Possess skills in managing design resources to ensure optimal usage.

• Experienced in design QA and QC management.

• Strong comprehension of design processes and project management principles.

• Previous experience in business development, including crafting successful proposals and pursuing work, is advantageous.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture, or equivalent professional experience is required.
