Infrastructure Application and Database SME, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Support Services

• Oversee the architecture, implementation, optimization, security, upgrades, and migrations of Microsoft SQL databases

• Administer SQL Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Managed Instances

• Handle Windows Failover Clustering

• Supervise Always On Availability Groups

• Manage Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs)

• Offer mentorship to team members

⛳️ Requirements

• A decade of experience in database administration and infrastructure management with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server

• Proven experience in supporting Department of Defense or Federal enterprise Microsoft SQL database environments

• Demonstrated technical leadership in SQL

• Expertise in enterprise SQL high availability, security, and cloud platforms

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required

• Possession of one of the following certifications: MCSA SQL 2016 DBA or Microsoft Azure DBAA or a higher level

• Active Secret security clearance
