Information Technology Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create architectural models including use cases, call flows, entity-relationship diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

• Employ modeling languages such as C4, BPMN v2, UML v2, ArchiMate v3, and ERD.

• Utilize modeling tools including Sparx EA, Abacus Architect, Alfabet EA, Visual Paradigm, and MS Visio.

• Design architectures that are high-performance, scalable, secure, and highly available.

• Analyze business requirements and suggest technological solutions.

• Identify the documentation needs for architecture.

• Establish a deployment strategy for proposed solutions.

• Evaluate costs associated with acquisition, integration, operation, and decommissioning.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least six (6) years of experience in IT architecture.

• Expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

• Familiarity with DevOps, microservices, and cloud technologies.

• Strong technical writing capabilities.

• Capability to propose IT solutions that add value.

• Ability to understand and manage risks effectively.

• Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.

• Understanding of frameworks including TOGAF, BEAM, and GERAM.

• Awareness of ITIL and COBIT frameworks.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, and Go.

• Familiarity with design and continuous integration tools (CI/CD).

• Proficient in French, both spoken and written.
