This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee security operational governance activities.

• Drive efforts for security remediation and adherence to SLA/SLO.

• Ensure excellence in the delivery of security tools and business operations.

• Manage relationships with suppliers at Gainwell Technologies and with clients.

• Develop and maintain security plans for specific accounts and products.

• Handle and report security incidents from initiation to resolution.

• Oversee preparation, facilitation, and remediation for audits.

• Manage security risks and exceptions effectively.

• Ensure the implementation of essential security fundamentals, policies, and compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.

• Escalate and resolve security-related issues proactively.

• Coordinate security metrics and reporting that support contractual obligations.

• Deliver clear communications from Gainwell through confident presentations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, audit, security, or technical delivery roles.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Familiarity with security and auditing regulations.

• Experience with audit and compliance programs, including leading audits and remediation activities.

• Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E/ARC-AMPE, and FedRAMP standards.

• Ability to work efficiently in diverse, multinational, and virtual settings.

• Background as a Security consultant, architect, and/or engineer.

• Experience with security management, including information governance and compliance.

• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of industry best practices in information security.

• Familiarity with security processes and standards, especially NIST 800-53 and/or ISO27001.

• Knowledge of security audit and accreditation procedures.

• Ability to adapt to new security frameworks.

• Compliance experience with SIMM and SAM.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Self-driven and persistent.

• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and integrity.

• Capability to influence delivery personnel to fulfill security and compliance requirements.
