Information Security and Business Continuity Management (BCM) Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on information security in alignment with the BSI IT-Grundschutz Standards (200 series), emphasizing organizational, process, and change management aspects within their security management framework.

• Offer consultancy on business continuity and emergency management as per BSI IT-Grundschutz Standard 200-4, concentrating on organizational, process, and change management factors.

• Assist in the formulation of security concepts, protection needs assessments, risk analyses, and IT-Grundschutz evaluations.

• Support clients in their risk management efforts in line with BSI standards (IT-Grundschutz), particularly by aiding in the realistic evaluation of risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in HiScout software.

• Extensive knowledge of information security acquired through several years of professional experience.

• Strong understanding of the BSI 200 series standards, including their methodologies and processes, especially Standard 200-4.

• Certification as a BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner.

• Familiarity with modeling IT associations using IT-Grundschutz tools (e.g., HiScout, verinice).

• Experience in projects related to BSI Standard 200-4, BCM/emergency management, and, where relevant, NIS2.

• Preferred: Background in process and change management.

• Preferred: Experience in project management.

• Preferred: Knowledge of public administration, particularly in organizational, process, and administrative procedural areas.

• Language proficiency: German.
