Information Security Analyst Level II – SIEM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Suggest enhancements for detection rules to boost accuracy and minimize false positives across SIEM and EDR platforms.

• Perform investigations into security incidents utilizing tools like Splunk, Elastic, ArcSight, and XDR platforms (Cisco XDR, Cortex XDR).

• Utilize AI to examine security trends, automate processes, and uncover new patterns of threat behavior.

• Create and document detection blueprints to improve high-fidelity alerting for security threats and compliance risks.

• Support SOAR platform workflows to enhance incident response automation.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to identify gaps in detection visibility and implement best practice mitigations.

• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to Level I analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.

• Expertise in SIEM platforms, endpoint detection tools, and XDR solutions.

• Solid understanding of networking, enterprise security technologies, and automation tools.

• Preferred: Certifications such as CEH, GIAC, or equivalent.
