This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather and distill guidance from diverse information sources and levels (technical, business, field, external) and consistently communicate essential insights to both the field and senior leadership.
• Deliver a comprehensive, field-actionable, and continually evolving analysis of the cloud security market in relation to CrowdStrike's solutions and capabilities.
• Offer customized deal support (including competitive analyses and strategic guidance) while building a strong relationship with the field.
• Collaborate closely with the Competitive Intelligence team at CrowdStrike, as well as other important stakeholders (such as the CTO office, sales, product, and marketing teams), serving as the primary liaison for cloud security competition, which involves the creation of competitive support materials and readiness plans.
• Provide strategic recommendations on sales tactics and product direction to empower CrowdStrike's success in the marketplace.
• Exhibit a self-driven, ownership mentality, working independently on the formulation of project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and the continual tracking and updating of the cloud competitive landscape.
• Execute win/loss analyses by leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data sources to assess why CrowdStrike succeeds or fails against the competition.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience within the cloud security sector, with a strong focus on CNAPP, including CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM, as well as compliance and cybersecurity risk management.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience; ideal candidates will have expertise in at least TWO of the following roles: cloud architect, sales engineer/pre-sales, competitive intelligence, solution architect, product management, technical marketing, and product marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical ideas into actionable guidance for the field and concise executive summaries.
• Exceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to senior and executive management.
• Strong people and project management abilities to oversee projects and foster relationships with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• Proven track record of utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and drive business results.
