This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Manage incoming security vulnerability reports from the research community.
• Support and challenge both researchers and security teams utilizing your security expertise.
• Investigate, create proofs of concept (POCs), and assess reports submitted through our platform.
• Address escalations of tickets and facilitate mediation between researchers.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.
• Monitor changes in the team's workload and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Evaluate the severity of reported issues in terms of potential business impact.
• Calculate Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) ratings.
• Review and constructively critique reports.
• Inspire and engage security researchers.
• Offer remediation advice and assist customers in deriving value from received reports.
• Document, communicate, and share findings effectively.
• Keep abreast of the latest malware and security threats.
• Conduct penetration tests and validate security on computer systems, networks, and applications.
• Develop new testing methodologies to uncover vulnerabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in English, both written and oral.
• Knowledge of Dutch is a significant advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in penetration testing, security testing, or vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain focus on resolution during incidents.
• A solid understanding of the (Ethical) Hacker culture and the Bug Bounty community.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of independently finding solutions to both technical and non-technical challenges through research (aggressive googling, Stack Overflow, etc.).
• Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in a 24x7 support organization.
• Positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Demonstrated technical skills.
• Proficient in Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of web application security.
• Understanding of mobile application security.
