Infrastructure Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee secure baselines (CIS) and configuration adherence for servers, endpoints, and mobile devices; detect deviations and initiate remediation actions.

• Collaborate with Network and Infrastructure teams to strategize and monitor segmentation and Azure security enhancements; confirm implementation and gather evidence.

• Assess endpoint protection/EDR coverage and the quality of logging into SIEM/XDR; resolve telemetry discrepancies with platform owners.

• Uphold standards, procedures, and audit documentation; assist in control testing and incident investigations.

• Evaluate and recommend network security measures, including firewall rule configurations, Zscaler policies, and segmentation strategies for branch and datacenter settings.

• Assist in managing Azure cloud security posture (CSPM); verify CIS benchmarks for Azure resources and oversee cloud workload protection mechanisms.

• Engage in an on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in infrastructure/security operations (Windows/Linux), endpoint management, and foundational networking knowledge.

• Experience in evaluating hardening and patch management practices.

• Familiarity with Azure IaaS/PaaS, CIS benchmarks, and configuration/vulnerability assessment tools.

• Strong skills in documentation and cross-team collaboration.

• AI Fluency: Proven capability to utilize Claude or ChatGPT to enhance baseline analysis, configuration validation, and infrastructure remediation efforts.
