Information Request Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Update patient accounts with information obtained from hospitals.

• Follow up with the Contact Specialist.

• Access client connections and computer systems to gather information necessary for account updates.

• Monitor requests to ensure they remain within the required timeframe.

• Ensure timely resolution of client accounts for assigned clients.

• Serve as a liaison between claims representatives and providers.

• Undertake special projects or assigned tasks as needed.

• Assist IT in resolving access-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficient in Excel and Word.

• Ability to quickly learn various hospital databases and internal applications.

• Strong skills in computer navigation.

• Experience in using multiple software applications simultaneously.

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

• High level of customer service expertise.

• Capability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.

• Willingness to learn client and operational processes.

• Accurate work with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and completing assignments.

• A quiet, distraction-free home work environment is essential.

• Secure internet connection is required.

• Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps for download and 10 Mbps for upload.

• Workspace must accommodate workstation equipment and related materials.

• Must reside in the United States within an eligible listed state.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Successful verification of employment history and background check is mandatory.
