This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee and secure AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructures that support client projects.
• Establish and uphold security controls throughout CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with RMF activities, including the implementation of controls, assessment support, and ATO sustainment.
• Configure and manage systems that comply with STIG standards.
• Integrate and oversee SAST, DAST, container scanning, and dependency scanning tools within DevSecOps pipelines.
• Monitor the security posture of systems through continuous monitoring, log aggregation, and alerting platforms.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, track remediation, and generate security reports.
• Implement SAST, DAST, and SCA tools in CI/CD workflows.
• Ensure that cloud systems adhere to RMF/NIST 800-53 standards and assist with ATO documentation.
• Execute automated cybersecurity testing and manage STIG compliance through ACAS scan evaluations.
• Create automation scripts for patching, configuration management, and evidence collection.
• Provision, configure, and maintain federal cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure secure cloud, virtualized, and hybrid configurations for optimal availability and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with development, DevSecOps, and cloud engineering teams to embed security into design and deployment processes.
• Maintain security plans, System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and configuration baselines.
• Support incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and corrective measures.
• Collaborate with agile software teams to address application risks.
• Manage CSP security tools, such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Defender.
• Troubleshoot performance and security issues related to cloud applications.
• Apply security patches and oversee IAVAs.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Tier-3 Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in Cloud Engineering/Admin or Cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Proven experience in securing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
• Proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Experience with AWS and Azure services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.
• Understanding of federal cybersecurity mandates, including RMF and STIGs.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes security practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and security tools, such as Nessus, Fortify, SonarQube, and Anchore.
