Informatica Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug mappings, workflows, sessions, and B2B Data Transformation applications utilizing Informatica PowerCenter.

• Convert business requirements into technical design specifications for Informatica and EDI X12 Healthcare solutions.

• Utilize flowcharts, data flow diagrams, mapping specifications, and source-to-target mapping documents for effective communication.

• Act as a technical authority on Informatica PowerCenter, B2B Data Transformation, Oracle PL/SQL, and Linux development initiatives.

• Engage in the complete development life cycle, which includes requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support in production.

• Generate technical specifications derived from conceptual designs and business needs.

• Take part in code reviews and software design discussions.

• Collaborate with end-users to prototype, enhance, test, and debug applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• 8–10 years of experience with the Informatica Platform.

• Familiarity with best practices for Informatica PowerCenter and B2B Data Transformation products.

• Extensive development experience in PowerCenter, particularly in B2B Data Transformation, EDI X12 Healthcare, and Informatica development.

• Comprehensive hands-on expertise in mappings, workflows, sessions, and applications.

• Solid technical knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, B2B Data Transformation, EDI X12 Healthcare, as well as mappings, workflows, and reusable components.

• Strong analytical and technical skills.

• Proficient in ETL and data modeling.

• Awareness of reusability, parameterization, and workflow design principles.

• Capability to operate with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.
