This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Conduct thorough discovery sessions, document requirements and designs, and facilitate the delivery of solutions.
• Develop and sustain reusable documentation and code for effective delivery.
• Architect and create data platforms, including warehouses and lakes, to support reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Coordinate and schedule upgrades for Infor Birst Analytic Packages in collaboration with clients and the Infor White Glove Service team.
• Back up client-specific data models, develop extensions and reports during upgrades, and ensure they are reapplied and tested post-upgrade.
• Assist clients in enhancing their data literacy and utilize analytics for quicker, more informed decision-making.
• Design and implement Birst solutions encompassing administration, architecture, data modeling, reporting, connectivity, optimization, and functionality.
• Configure and provide guidance on the integration between Infor Security and Birst Security, including roles and access management.
• Analyze and communicate architectural trade-offs while recommending the most effective solutions.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and development teams to maximize the value derived from client data.
• Propel innovative technology solutions through thought leadership on emerging trends.
• Share project solutions and results with colleagues to enhance future delivery processes.
• Extensive experience with Birst analytics and Infor reporting ERP in Human Resources, Financial Management, Supply Management, or Payroll domains.
• Advanced expertise in Birst design, data flow, connectivity, development, optimization, administration, architecture, data modeling, and reporting tools.
• Relevant experience in consulting or professional services delivery across various client projects.
• Technical proficiency in databases, data warehouses, business intelligence, analytics, and visualization platforms, preferably in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data technologies and disciplines, including data modeling, dimensional models, third-normal-form structures, ETL/ELT, change data capture, slowly changing dimensions, and database tuning.
• Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, OBIEE, or QlikView.
• Experience with Infor CloudSuite, Infor OS/Security, Data Fabric/Streaming Pipelines, Data Lake, Birst, EPM, BI FSM, or Infor Analytics Packages.
• Proficiency in visual dashboard development and understanding of best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience mentoring others and sharing best practices.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Birst and Infor administration.
• At least 3 years’ experience in developing business intelligence reporting software such as Birst, SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Proficient in SQL writing.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ETL design concepts.
