This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Oversee, expand, and enhance a sales territory encompassing a network of distribution customers aimed at supporting and representing the full range of Stanley Black & Decker industrial solution brands.
• Illustrate the advantages of Stanley Black & Decker’s comprehensive product portfolio and services by pinpointing target opportunities, conducting product trials, and supplying customers with a cost savings analysis report.
• Identify end-user applications to deliver the most cost-efficient product recommendations.
• Assist customers with continuous sales service, including sales analysis, inventory management, and promotions.
• Handle the administrative components and ensure timely reporting for all territory management areas.
• Keep distributors engaged and informed regarding products.
• Develop and deliver a value-based communication strategy with both distribution partners and end users.
• Address end-user issues through troubleshooting, minor repairs, alignment, and calibration of equipment.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field, or over 5 years of equivalent trade experience in a workshop setting.
• At least 2 years of direct sales experience in industrial sales is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude to work with tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is preferred.
• Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are required.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Must be capable of developing and presenting programs to both customers and the sales organization.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
