Independent Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and effectively manage all assigned claims with minimal supervision

• Make claim decisions within the delegated authority according to company and carrier policies

• Accurately interpret policy coverages and implement appropriate claims practices

• Establish and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations

• Keep current with insurance policies, guidelines, and industry practices

• Understand local construction techniques, pricing, and repair standards

• Submit additional reports as necessary (e.g., severe incident reports, ITV reports)

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insureds, clients, and stakeholders

• Uphold high standards of professional conduct throughout all assignments

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred

• At least 2 years of experience managing property claims

• A minimum of 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility estimating software

• Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures

• General knowledge of construction is strongly preferred
