This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Represent and promote the manufacturer's products autonomously within a designated territory.
• Cultivate and nurture professional relationships with architects, contractors, developers, property owners, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify, pursue, and assist with project opportunities to achieve mutually established annual sales and specification targets.
• Seek out and secure new accounts to enhance market presence and increase revenue prospects.
• Engage in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities as deemed appropriate to bolster business development initiatives.
• Maintain precise records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities utilizing the manufacturer's CRM or reporting tools.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to facilitate collaboration and forecasting.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development or as a sales agent in the construction or building materials sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices.
• Familiarity with sustainable building technologies, LEED, or equivalent frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to drive specifications and revenue growth, along with closing large-scale deals.
• Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and relationship management capabilities.
• Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
