Incident Response Consultant – Weekend Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee incident response initiatives

• Create and implement innovative techniques to identify malicious actors within extensive datasets

• Collaborate with external legal counsel to carry out intrusion investigations

• Conduct host and/or network forensics on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems

• Execute basic malware analysis

• Generate high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for key stakeholders

• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in team leadership within a matrixed consulting environment

• Incident Response: proven experience in conducting or managing incident response investigations for organizations

• Computer Forensic Analysis: a solid background in utilizing various forensic analysis tools during incident response investigations

• Network Forensic Analysis: in-depth knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools such as Bro/Zeek or Suricata

• Reverse Engineering: capability to comprehend the functionalities of static and dynamic malware analysis

• Incident Remediation: strong familiarity with targeted attacks and the ability to devise tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans

• Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: essential understanding of secure network architecture and operations

• Cloud Incident Response: knowledge of incident response methodologies in AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Communications: proficiency in conveying executive-level and detailed findings to clients

• Ability to perform technical tasks independently

• Eagerness to enhance both technical and interpersonal skills

• Strong project management capabilities

• Acknowledged thought leader within the incident response sector

• Ability to cultivate a positive work environment and attitude
