Incident Response Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement containment and remediation processes for cybersecurity incidents within Cynet's customer and prospective customer environments.

• Conduct forensic analyses of compromised assets and create actionable remediation strategies.

• Examine potentially malicious files to understand their functions and methodologies.

• Extract indicators of compromise and integrate them into detection systems.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24×7 escalations outside of regular business hours.

• Enhance and develop Cynet's tools and capabilities for incident response.

• Collaborate with the CyOps CTI team and the Orion threat hunting team.

• Educate CyOps team members on best practices for incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in incident response within a Security Operations Center or a comparable cybersecurity organization.

• Practical experience with host and network digital forensics.

• In-depth understanding of incident response, digital forensics, and cyber threat hunting.

• Expertise in recognizing the tactics, techniques, and procedures employed by threat actors.

• Familiarity with malware analysis.

• Capability to coordinate tasks within a team and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with monitoring EDR, XDR, or SIEM solutions is a plus.
