Incident Response Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement containment and remediation strategies for cybersecurity incidents within Cynet's customer and prospective customer environments.

• Conduct forensic analysis on compromised assets and create actionable remediation plans.

• Examine potentially malicious files to comprehend their functions and techniques.

• Extract indicators of compromise and integrate them into detection systems.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for 24×7 escalations outside of regular business hours.

• Contribute to the enhancement and development of Cynet's incident response tools and capabilities.

• Collaborate with the CyOps Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team and the Orion threat hunting team.

• Educate CyOps team members on best practices for incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in incident response within a Security Operations Center or a comparable cybersecurity organization.

• Practical experience with digital forensics for both host and network environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of incident response, digital forensics, and cyber threat hunting.

• Proficiency in recognizing the tactics, techniques, and procedures utilized by threat actors.

• Familiarity with malware analysis techniques.

• Capability to coordinate tasks within a team and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with monitoring EDR, XDR, or SIEM solutions is considered a benefit.
