In-Home Health Physician – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health evaluations lasting approximately 45 minutes.

• Interact individually with health plan members to address health inquiries.

• Assess medications and review medical histories.

• Execute physical examinations.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as instructed by the health plan, such as diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and follow a clinical workflow for each evaluation.

• Travel nationwide to connect individuals with suitable care.

• Travel locally and within licensed states as required.

• Facilitate virtual visits when necessary.

• Offer Diagnostic & Preventive Services, including spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Refer individuals to their health plan and encourage the involvement of family members when appropriate.

• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about members’ health and quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in applicable coverage area(s).

• Capable of covering Bellingham and its surrounding areas.

• Willing to travel locally and within licensed states as needed.

• Able to conduct virtual visits as required.

• Comfortable performing duties in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, or other airborne allergens or irritants.

• MD or DO qualification as clearly outlined in the required and preferred qualifications section.
