This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Install, monitor, and tailor patient care infrastructure systems for clients following hardware or software acquisitions.
• Work in collaboration with Sales, Project Management, Network Design, Digital Services, customer IT, and biomed teams to deploy solutions effectively.
• Evaluate and enhance existing infrastructure to facilitate the installation of new solutions.
• Conduct installation, validation, and connectivity checks on designated equipment.
• Build and nurture customer relationships and communication to identify needs, ensure problem resolution, and enhance satisfaction.
• Consult with IT and biomed teams regarding installation prerequisites and cybersecurity matters.
• Guide and mentor local Field Engineers on implemented solutions.
• Maintain logs of customer service, internal service records, technical project plans, technical walkthroughs, and discussions with customers post-warranty.
• Oversee vendor services when required.
• Train personnel on the operation, diagnostics, effective use, and repair of equipment.
• Assist in the engineering of new product releases.
• Travel at least 90% of the time.
• Bachelor's or associate's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in the installation and configuration of network equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and address issues related to enterprise networking infrastructure.
• Proven experience in implementing disaster recovery strategies.
• Up-to-date knowledge and comprehension of security and networking best practices.
• Awareness of cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
• Willingness and capability to travel a minimum of 90%.
• 5 or more years of experience in IT (preferred).
• Certifications in CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CCWA (preferred).
