Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver configurations for the Appspace Intranet for both new and existing clients, ensuring proper setup of configuration and content in preparation for launch.

• Act as the main implementation resource, establishing clear expectations with internal teams to relay to customers, managing timelines, and fostering robust communication within the organization throughout each project.

• Configure and validate Appspace Intranet environments to align with each customer's unique structural, design, and content specifications.

• When necessary, provide customized onboarding sessions and training for customer administrators and content managers to promote self-sufficiency after the launch.

• When needed, offer consultations on best practices for intranet usage, including information architecture, content governance, navigation design, and user experience to prepare customers for lasting success.

• Implement features for Appspace Internal Communications such as news feeds, announcements, targeted content channels, and tools for employee engagement.

• Advise on internal communications strategies by structuring content hierarchies, defining publishing workflows, and effectively reaching the appropriate audiences.

• Support organized migration efforts for clients transitioning from legacy platforms to the Appspace Intranet platform.

• Analyze and map existing content structures, site architecture, and user permissions from legacy systems to corresponding Appspace configurations.

• Create and implement structured QA checklists for each implementation and migration, focusing on content accuracy, navigation integrity, permissions, and core feature performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in implementing, configuring, or administering intranet or internal communications platforms (such as Appspace, SharePoint, Igloo, or similar).

• Understanding of workplace management solutions—such as space reservation, room/desk booking, and digital signage—with the capability to quickly adapt to delivery implementations.

• Experience in platform migrations, encompassing the transfer of content, structure, and permissions between systems, with a focus on quality.

• Basic technical literacy in at least one area: C#, cloud service platforms, or NoSQL/document databases, adequate for investigating issues and clearly communicating findings.

• Strong attention to detail, with a background in conducting structured QA validation of content or system configurations.

• Excellent communication abilities, capable of translating technical findings into straightforward, customer-facing language.

• Ability to manage multiple implementation projects concurrently, demonstrating a high level of organization and follow-through.

• Customer-focused mindset with experience in direct client-facing delivery roles.
