This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Oversee the project management of implementing and integrating customer point-of-care solutions.
• Manage post-close activities to minimize the implementation-to-revenue timeline, aiming for 60 days.
• Direct product installation and integration by applying implementation best practices.
• Coordinate with customers, Point of Care Sales Specialists, and other resources to ensure effective i-STAT usage and adoption.
• Safeguard base business and mitigate loss and declining business in partnership with field sales.
• Identify growth opportunities in targeted accounts as a pre-close laboratory technical specialist.
• Assist with pre-close implementation tasks to enhance product portfolio sales and create new business avenues.
• Revise institutional processes to improve patient care using APOC products.
• Conduct educational presentations for physicians, nurses, medical directors, departmental staff, and hospital administration.
• Enhance implementation efficiencies and decrease timelines for large-volume, high-priority, and complex projects.
• Develop and implement implementation strategies while leading or participating in cross-functional teams.
• Create and oversee practices, projects, programs, and initiatives to maximize cartridge utilization.
• Allocate resources to provide outstanding front-line customer support.
• Comprehend customer needs and articulate the advantages of point-of-care testing.
• Manage various products, implementations, and sales cycles simultaneously.
• Exhibit product expertise and perform product demonstrations.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external customer stakeholders.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely and precise manner.
• Mentor and train new staff, serving as a lead implementation personnel and peer leader.
• Travel extensively to meet business objectives.
• Adhere to EHS policies, procedures, guidelines, and Abbott’s Code of Business Conduct.
• Implement and sustain Quality System effectiveness.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related discipline.
• An Associate degree is acceptable with additional experience and proven competence.
• Typically requires 3–5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including a minimum of 3 years in project management.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, with at least 1 year in a clinical hospital role preferred.
• 3 years of project management experience and/or a demonstrated leadership position.
• Capability to maintain momentum across multiple products, implementations, and sales cycles.
• Ability to manage projects involving various stakeholders and process owners.
• Proficiency in clear, concise, and accurate communication.
• Ability to establish and develop interpersonal and professional relationships.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with databases and other computer software.
• Confidence in public speaking and leading training sessions.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organization, time-management, and project-management skills.
• Strong customer-service background with experience in managing facility-stakeholder relations.
• Must reside within the South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, or Florida territory.
• Willingness and ability to travel by various means, including overnight travel, up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to understand and comply with relevant EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
