This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate as a member of the Health Service Delivery Team, focusing on NEC Software Services’ health screening applications.
• Provide software implementation, project management, consultation, and training services tailored to the screening market.
• Conduct regular operations and offer application support for healthcare services.
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing products and services.
• Coordinate with customers and third parties to schedule and oversee installations and updates of the Healthcare portfolio.
• Develop content for the deployment of interfacing projects.
• Create and define system data and configuration for new product installations.
• Implement configuration changes to current customer setups.
• Offer technical expertise in supporting existing solutions.
• Execute quality assurance and testing of applications and deployment routines.
• Assist customers during the rollout of new healthcare services.
• Work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to implement new software releases.
• Travel across the United Kingdom as necessary to collaborate with teams and customers.
• Engage in continual improvement processes for NEC Software Solutions.
• Proven experience in software installation and support, IT systems, and network management.
• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows servers.
• Good understanding of SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Capability to follow and develop operational procedures.
• Prior experience in customer liaison.
• Background in software and application maintenance, testing, and deployment.
• Ability to articulate concepts clearly and succinctly.
• Experience with Excel and VBA for data manipulation (desirable).
• Technical knowledge of networking fundamentals (desirable).
• Experience with JIRA, SSMS, IIS, VMware, and SMTP (desirable).
• Proficiency in translating user requirements into functional solutions (desirable).
• Prince2 certification (desirable).
• Familiarity with Agile working methodologies (desirable).
• Experience in the healthcare market (desirable).
• Ability to work autonomously within one's area of responsibility.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Skill in documenting work clearly and concisely.
• Ability to forge working relationships with third-party suppliers and NHS organizations.
• Capability to establish rapport with both onshore and offshore Development and QA Teams.
• Proficient in communicating with both technical and non-technical personnel to clarify customer requirements and issues.
• Willingness to challenge and enhance existing processes and practices.
• Proactive and forward-thinking mindset.
• Ability to multitask and balance customer demands with internal priorities.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Possession of pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence required.
• Completion of satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks is necessary.
• A DBS check may be required based on the role's nature.
