This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Collaborate with the Implementation Team to set up and deliver the LemonEdge platform solution for clients and partners.
• Oversee and manage comprehensive software implementation projects, encompassing requirements gathering, scoping, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Work alongside the Operations Team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are clearly understood, delivered punctually, and that ongoing maintenance and support needs are addressed.
• Utilize extensive fund accounting expertise to configure the platform according to intricate client-specific requirements across Private Equity, Real Estate, Fund of Funds, Evergreen Funds, Open-Ended Funds, and other private asset strategies.
• Aid in data migration tasks, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy and consistency during system transitions.
• Create and document SQL queries and procedures to facilitate implementation tasks such as data migration, reporting, and process automation.
• Assist in developing supporting documentation for clients and partners, including project plans, configuration documents, and training materials.
• Ensure clients receive ongoing training and support, adhering to implementation best practices in all engagements.
• Engage with clients, partners, and professional services teams daily, providing clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• 5+ years of experience in implementing or consulting on financial or accounting software solutions, focusing on fund accounting and private assets.
• Solid background in Private Equity fund accounting, with a grasp of fund structures, capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, waterfall mechanics, and investor reporting.
• Experience with industry-standard systems such as Investran, Allvue (formerly Black Mountain), eFront, Advent Geneva, or similar fund accounting platforms.
• Comfortable in a client-facing capacity, capable of leading client workshops, managing expectations, and clearly communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend and translate complex financial processes into system configurations and data requirements.
• A collaborative team player enthusiastic about assisting where possible, with a passion for technology and financial services.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, migration support, and reporting tasks is preferred.
• Familiarity with VBA or similar scripting tools for automation and data manipulation is preferred.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, or DevExpress is preferred.
• Understanding of Alternative Assets more broadly, including Real Estate, Fund of Funds, Evergreen Funds, Open-Ended Funds, Secondaries, or Infrastructure strategies is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field; professional qualifications (CFA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) are advantageous but not mandatory.
