Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the pre-implementation process for TrueCommerce clients regarding EDI.

• Act as the main contact for clients throughout the pre-implementation phase.

• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, engaging with various clients and/or partners.

• Execute pre-implementation responsibilities and align activities with the client, trading partners, and other TrueCommerce team members.

• Identify and communicate issues, escalating them to the Manager and/or relevant parties as needed.

• Collect, review, and verify all necessary customer, trading partner, and retailer information to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to handover to implementation teams.

• Carry out internal intake tasks, which include logging new projects, establishing records, and populating the relevant fields in TrueCommerce systems and tools.

• Request, follow up on, and gather outstanding information from clients, trading partners, and third-party IT consultants to keep the pre-implementation process progressing.

• Validate data against TrueCommerce standards and requirements, pinpointing any gaps, discrepancies, or errors before handover.

• Maintain precise and current records of collected data and intake activities to support a clear audit trail and assist subsequent teams.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction.

• Accountable for working with internal and external resources to ensure the successful completion of pre-implementation milestones before handover.

• Prioritize tasks to meet client expectations effectively.

• Work directly with Implementation Specialists, Mapping Specialists, and other resources to ensure all pre-implementation data collection and validation are thorough and accurate prior to project handover.

• Recognize and document any issues or concerns identified during the pre-implementation phase to prevent future complications and facilitate a seamless handover.

• Provide timely updates on project status and reporting.

• Deliver prompt updates concerning the pre-implementation status of all assigned projects and tasks to the Manager, Project Manager, or other relevant parties.

• Keep all pre-implementation tasks, data, and other essential information current in TrueCommerce PSA tools to ensure subsequent teams have complete visibility at handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, MBA, or a certification in IT, Accounting, or similar relevant experience, ideally with 1-2 years in the field.

• A strong desire to learn and engage in pre-implementation, data collection, or intake tasks, with a readiness to take ownership under supervision.

• Confidence to serve as the point of contact for clients during the pre-implementation phase, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor through calls, emails, and other forms of communication.

• Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Skillful in gathering, documenting, and validating customer requirements or specifications in a systematic and accurate manner.

• A sharp eye for detail when reviewing data or working with clients to gather and confirm information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications is mandatory.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with the confidence to interact professionally with both customers and colleagues.

• Exceptionally organized, with strong time management capabilities and the ability to prioritize and see tasks through to completion.
