Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Implement NEC Software Solutions into operational service across the client portfolio.

• Design, set up, and enhance customized Communication and CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) product solutions in client settings or hosted data centers.

• Diagnose issues with the product suite at both hardware and software levels.

• Develop, review, and revise engineering documentation, including work plans, work instructions, and technical manuals.

• Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize activities and share necessary information.

• Perform duties on customer sites at various locations, involving significant travel and overnight stays.

• Offer both technical and non-technical customer interactions with a professional and flexible demeanor.

• Work both collaboratively and independently as project demands require.

• Adhere to NEC Software Solutions' processes and protocols.

• Complete tasks within specified deadlines and report any delivery challenges.

• Uphold professional standards, maintain tidy work environments, and comply with health and safety regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 consecutive years due to security clearance criteria.

• Must possess existing rights to work and travel within the UK; documentary proof required.

• Successful vetting and reference checks are mandatory; a DBS check may be necessary depending on the position.

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and domain architecture.

• Demonstrated experience managing Microsoft Windows 11 and Windows Server up to 2022.

• Proven track record in deploying Microsoft Windows and server operating systems.

• Established experience in deploying Microsoft Windows Updates (WSUS).

• Familiarity with MySQL/MSSQL, including performing backups and executing queries.

• Solid understanding and experience with virtualization environments such as Hyper-V or VMware.

• Experience with Microsoft Business Applications, including Excel, Visio, and Word.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Proven experience adhering to ITIL best practices.
