Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and clients to execute software implementations

• Offer in-depth product expertise from design and development through testing, go-live, and transition to Support

• Utilize best-practice implementation methodologies to create scalable and maintainable solutions

• Manage multiple standard and enterprise-scale implementation projects simultaneously

• Assist in customer data migration, covering preparation, conversion, and loading into Chevin systems

• Evaluate proposed designs and pinpoint opportunities for simplification and reuse

• Estimate implementation efforts and oversee billable utilization targets

• Configure, test, and launch systems based on functional and technical specifications

• Generate SQL reports, automations, and data validation processes

• Identify and escalate scope changes, delivery risks, and competing priorities

• Lead sprint demonstrations and facilitate customer-facing training sessions

• Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues

• Create reusable configuration notes, test scripts, deployment records, and lessons learned

• Utilize approved AI tools responsibly with human oversight and source validation

• Implement security-minded practices when managing customer environments, credentials, and sensitive data

• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives across Professional Services

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience: 3+ years in delivering software implementations as an Implementation Consultant

• Essential experience in software implementation

• Required experience in fleet or related industries

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field

• Strong comprehension of software deployment methodologies and system integrations

• Familiarity with cloud-based and enterprise platforms

• Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of Chevin products and convey their value to customers

• Solid understanding of web applications and their underlying architecture

• Experience with ETL tools for data migration

• Proficient SQL skills, including moderately complex SQL Server queries

• Front-end development capabilities in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON

• Strong understanding of APIs

• Hands-on experience in API testing and integration troubleshooting using Postman, REST APIs, OAuth/JWT authentication flows, and SQL-based validation

• Experience with SaaS solutions in Azure environments

• Practical experience using approved AI tools with human-in-the-loop review

• Self-motivated and accountable approach with minimal supervision required

• Ability to document customer interactions and delivered solutions

• Capacity to produce concise, reusable technical documentation and implementation artifacts

• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Strong attention to detail and a pragmatic working style

• Security-aware mindset encompassing access control, credential management, auditability, and data protection

• Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal relationship-building abilities

• Capability to adjust communication based on the technical proficiency of different customers

• Willingness to apply for Government clearance

• Availability for occasional planned evenings or weekends during implementation go-lives

• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, on-site implementations, demonstrations, and training

• Bonus: Knowledge of SaaS SSO, fleet-management domain expertise, C# debugging with Visual Studio, foundational programming skills, fleet-management experience, Oracle PL/SQL knowledge, or current/prior Government clearance
