Immigration Advocacy Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Offer essential assistance to MWEG’s immigration advocacy program at the state level.

• Regularly engage with specialists in the immigration advocacy program.

• Act as an integral member of MWEG’s Utah advocacy team.

• Function as a liaison with other organizations involved in immigration advocacy.

• Report directly to the immigration advocacy program specialist and the Utah state director.

• Collaborate closely with community partners and internal stakeholders.

• Keep track of updates and changes in immigration policy to shape MWEG Utah’s advocacy direction.

• Develop actionable strategies to peacefully and effectively mobilize supporters.

• Represent MWEG during coalition meetings.

• Increase awareness of immigration issues among members in Utah.

• Capability to coordinate advocacy efforts at the state level.

• Proficiency in monitoring updates and changes in immigration policy.

• Skill in creating actionable, peaceful, and effective advocacy strategies.

• Ability to represent MWEG at coalition meetings.

• Competence in raising awareness of immigration issues among Utah members.

• Aptitude for working closely with community partners and internal stakeholders.
