Imaging Field Service Engineer, X-ray, CT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute timely and precise Preventative Maintenance across one or more types of equipment.

• Collaborate with seasoned Field Engineers, both on-site and remotely, to acquire troubleshooting, repair, and equipment installation skills.

• Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering Service Excellence.

• Support senior field engineers with the installation of equipment.

• Address basic troubleshooting and service repair requirements on assigned equipment.

• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and colleagues.

• Suggest value-added services that can assist the customer in operating their business more efficiently.

• Stay current with administrative duties such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.

• Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.

• Engage effectively with commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, and participate in sales initiatives like contract renewals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.

• Proficiency with web applications as well as the Microsoft suite of products.

• The ideal candidate must pass GEHC's standard background check, which includes a post-offer drug test.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.

• A Valid Driver's License is required and must be maintained.

• Special Physical Requirements: The candidate should be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, as well as sit and stand for extended periods.
