Field Service Engineer – Semiconductor Metrology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct site surveys, pre-installation, and installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (such as X-ray, automated AFM, and Photomask Repair tools).

• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Offer technical assistance, basic application support, and training to customers.

• Develop strong relationships with key accounts.

• Act as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and Bruker to ensure satisfaction in customer service.

• Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the semiconductor sector.

• Travel frequently to customer locations throughout Germany and internationally (approximately 30–40% travel required).

• Promptly complete and submit all necessary documentation.

• Efficiently manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and adhere to deadlines.

• Become a trusted advisor and assist with service contracts and new tool sales.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, specifically in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Practical experience with standard diagnostic tools (such as oscilloscopes and multimeters), excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a solid understanding of complex electro-mechanical systems.

• Ability to work in manufacturing, cleanroom, and laboratory settings.

• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of data system hardware, industry-standard operating systems, and technical documentation.

• Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English and German for business communication.

• A valid EU driving license.
