
Field Service Engineer β Semiconductor Metrology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Conduct site surveys, pre-installation, and installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (such as X-ray, automated AFM, and Photomask Repair tools).
β’ Execute corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
β’ Offer technical assistance, basic application support, and training to customers.
β’ Develop strong relationships with key accounts.
β’ Act as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and Bruker to ensure satisfaction in customer service.
β’ Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the semiconductor sector.
β’ Travel frequently to customer locations throughout Germany and internationally (approximately 30β40% travel required).
β’ Promptly complete and submit all necessary documentation.
β’ Efficiently manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and adhere to deadlines.
β’ Become a trusted advisor and assist with service contracts and new tool sales.
β’ Perform other duties as assigned.
β’ A degree in Engineering, specifically in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
β’ Practical experience with standard diagnostic tools (such as oscilloscopes and multimeters), excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a solid understanding of complex electro-mechanical systems.
β’ Ability to work in manufacturing, cleanroom, and laboratory settings.
β’ Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of data system hardware, industry-standard operating systems, and technical documentation.
β’ Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Fluent in English and German for business communication.
β’ A valid EU driving license.
