Customer Service Engineer 2 – Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• You will provide service for DX Equipment in the Minneapolis, MN region.

• Your responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal oversight.

• You will ensure timely and effective repairs while also delivering adequate training to operators to optimize system performance, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.

• You will oversee financial performance in your territory, striving to meet or exceed budget targets for revenue generation, expense management, and inventory control.

• You will be responsible for managing company assets such as a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• You will establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers and colleagues, while also accurately completing necessary administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience of several years as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments is necessary.

• Proficiency in the use of tools and service testing equipment is essential.

• Expertise in all pertinent network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools) is required.

• A valid driver's license, the ability to drive independently both day and night, and a good driving record are mandatory.

• You must exhibit excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; strong knowledge in instrument systems technology encompassing mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; and experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is required.
