IFM Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct market analysis encompassing trends, benchmarking, and expenditure analysis to uncover savings opportunities.

• Formulate and align sourcing strategies within designated categories.

• Guide cross-functional teams of stakeholders through sourcing processes (RFXs), data analysis, supplier assessments, and contract negotiations.

• Effectively communicate with leadership to facilitate optimal decision-making.

• Work in collaboration with Facilities Management and Operations teams to implement sourcing strategies.

• Draft and modify contracts in accordance with organizational standards and client specifications.

• Create and execute risk management strategies to alleviate supply chain disruptions.

• Offer guidance to facility management and operations teams regarding sourcing and supply chain initiatives.

• Partner with and assist Supply Chain and Vendor Management Operations teams in managing supplier relationships, SLA/KPI tracking, and business review meetings.

• Aid the Finance team in budget planning and forecasting activities.

• Promote continuous improvement in processes and procedures, adhering to best practices while minimizing risk.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years of direct experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.

• Proven experience in developing and negotiating supplier contracts.

• Strong analytical skills to assess and establish optimal pricing frameworks.

• Effective communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong skills in process development and execution.

• Excellent project management capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of supplier management and service integration.

• Outstanding planning, organization, and performance under pressure.

• Leadership qualities for managing both internal and external expectations to meet deadlines.

• Advanced interpersonal skills for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
