Idira Secrets SME – Domain Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and present product demonstrations and sales pitches for Idira technology.

• Execute proof-of-concept evaluations with potential clients and highlight Idira’s value and unique features.

• Serve as the technical authority and trusted consultant for machine identity security solutions throughout the sales process.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to convey Idira’s value to both technical and business audiences.

• Conduct technical discovery sessions to grasp customer environments, challenges, and security objectives.

• Convert customer requirements into solution architectures and deployment methodologies.

• Work alongside product management and R&D to influence product strategy and address customer concerns.

• Keep up-to-date with DevOps tools, CI/CD processes, Agentic AI frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Support marketing initiatives to create pipeline and boost lead generation.

• Provide technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.

• Travel as necessary for customer engagements, conferences, or on-site workshops.

• Cultivate customer relationships and technical trust while demonstrating the value of Idira solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role, preferably in the cybersecurity and/or DevOps tooling domain.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.

• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs.

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, large language models (LLMs), or autonomous AI workflows.

• Development experience in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.

• Capability to work with REST APIs.

• Understanding of AI orchestration, prompt engineering, or integrating AI agents into development lifecycles.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven experience in managing and producing detailed technical responses for RFIs and RFPs.

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into business value propositions.

• Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their secrets management services.

• Preferred: operational experience with PKI deployment and lifecycle management.

• Preferred: previous experience with IAM, PAM, or secrets management solutions.

• Preferred: knowledge of Zero Trust security models and compliance frameworks.

• Preferred: hands-on experience securing or deploying autonomous AI agents, including managing API keys, permissions, or secrets.

• Relevant certifications are advantageous, such as Kubernetes, AWS, CyberArk Guardian, or CyberArk Defender.

• K8s certifications like CKA or CKS and/or Cloud Architect Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are preferred.
