This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in managing the Army Reserve enterprise network across over 700 locations, including contingents from the Readiness Division Command.
• Deliver subject matter expertise in ICT infrastructure for Military Construction (MILCON), Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR), and USARC G-6 funded infrastructure repair initiatives.
• Offer telecommunications infrastructure subject matter expertise to clients.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Analyze product data, shop drawings, and submission of test reports.
• Execute quality assurance inspections on ongoing construction projects.
• Supply ICT infrastructure subject matter expertise as needed by the client.
• Perform tasks in accordance with customer service level expectations and established requirements documents, including ARNEC, UFC manuals, NFPA codes, and ANSI/TIA standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and Army Reserve stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience; equivalent years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure.
• Must be able to secure a Secret clearance prior to starting.
• Possess an active certification in one of the following BICSI credentialing programs: Installer 1, Installer 2 (Copper or Fiber), or Technician.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure Quality Control/Quality Assurance inspections.
• At least 5 years of experience in reviewing product data, shop drawings, and test report submittals.
• Comfortable and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Working knowledge of ANSI/TIA-568, ANSI/TIA-569-C, ANSI/TIA-606, ANSI/TIA-607-B, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), UFC 3-580-01, and the Army Reserve Network Enterprise Center Infrastructure Technical Criteria.
• Experience with Army Reserve telecommunications infrastructure is highly preferred.
• An active BICSI certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
