IAM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, implement, and enhance IAM tools such as Okta and ConductorOne throughout the organization.

• Promote the adoption of scalable access management frameworks, including RBAC, ABAC, and JIT models.

• Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure that access protocols align with standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

• Work together on significant, cross-departmental projects that involve security, engineering, and IT.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and advocate for IAM best practices within the organization.

• Facilitate access integration during mergers & acquisitions by onboarding newly acquired companies and their identity systems into our access infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Terraform to manage IAM infrastructure at scale.

• At least 2 years of experience overseeing an Okta tenant with over 1,000 users, including familiarity with best practices for SSO, MFA, and policy control.

• Over 2 years of experience in scripting for routine operational tasks, such as generating reports or manipulating data through APIs.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with IGA platforms, including SailPoint, ConductorOne, Lumos, and others.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; intellectually curious and detail-oriented.

• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment, adjust to changing priorities, and quickly learn new concepts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly when interacting with stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
