This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and execution of VDI solutions that align with the goals and requirements of the organization.

• Implement and uphold VDI security best practices.

• Monitor VDI performance, identify issues, propose and implement solutions, and optimize infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and resource utilization challenges.

• Develop and sustain automation scripts and templates for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment tasks.

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators to facilitate application development and deployment.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, computing, and security.

• Conduct network maintenance and operational tasks.

• Document and convey technical information effectively to clients.

• Engage in planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, retrospectives, deployment, and validation activities.

• Partner with the manager to ensure alignment of requirements, priorities, and objectives with the overarching solution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance.

• Microsoft Server Administrator Associate Certification.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field substitutable for 5 years of relevant experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably with Azure and Kubernetes.

• 5+ years of experience in integrating, securing, and comprehending ADDS, ADCS, ADFS, Windows AD-integrated PKI, and SSO implementation.

• 5+ years of experience managing logs and metrics at scale.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, virtualization, Windows Servers, Windows 11, M365, networks, storage, and Active Directory.

• 5+ years of practical experience creating, analyzing, and automating Linux scripts using Python, Command, Bash, C, and Ansible.

• 3+ years of cumulative experience with Hyper-V and VMware implementation, management, and configuration.

• 3+ years of cumulative experience with log management, network firewalls, and testing.

• Proven experience in identifying root causes of service/application failures using logs and CLI-based tools.

• Hands-on experience with cloud migration.

• Familiarity with securing systems according to STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements such as NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP.

• Experience in Linux systems administration in RHCE-equivalent environments or Windows Server environments.

• System administrator-level understanding of Windows Server and RHEL Server.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and perform well under pressure.

• Desired: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.

• Desired: 2+ years of recent cumulative Azure Cloud Computing experience.

• Desired: CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification.

• Desired: VMware VCP 7.0+ certification.

• Experience using Veeam Backup/Restore software.
