This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Ensuring the seamless operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated area, which involves maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identifying potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnosing both electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC/R systems.
• Performing commissioning checks on HVAC Units to guarantee their ongoing, efficient operation, including verifying and adjusting the configurations of HVAC RTU controllers along with the mechanical functionality of the units.
• Conducting physical maintenance on Budderfly HVAC Units, which encompasses changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and examining units for any other mechanical failures.
• Responding promptly to Emergency Service Calls.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, while also executing warranty services.
• Carrying out emergency repairs swiftly and effectively.
• Maintaining daily logs and records of all activities within the Company work order system.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant State and Federal standards, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries.
• Experience with HVAC Controls; familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.
• Graduate of a Technical School.
• Capability to identify control and mechanical problems before they escalate.
