This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales growth in the laboratory sector by expanding market presence and promoting Ambry's range of genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Promote the clinical and financial advantages of products to various stakeholders in hospitals, specialty clinics, and physicians' offices, including MDs, nurses, genetic counselors, and lab personnel.
• Actively seek out and identify new business prospects within the designated territory.
• Concentrate solely on acquiring new business for genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Create and implement targeted outreach strategies, including cold calling, to convert new hospital and clinical customers.
• Oversee a dynamic pipeline of prospective accounts from the initial contact stage through to closure.
• Effectively communicate clinical and financial value propositions to secure commitments from new clients.
• Prepare and present impactful presentations customized for potential clients.
• Keep precise and timely records of sales pipeline data and activities within the CRM system.
• Regularly meet ambitious new business sales targets.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for accounts after acquisition.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or in medical device sales.
• A Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
• Experienced in using CRM applications such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM.
• Proven track record of sales achievements across a diverse portfolio of laboratory testing services for various medical specialties.
• Ability to sell technically intricate products.
• Experienced in demand creation across a large geographical area.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Some formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS.
• Strong skills in time and territory management.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license unless otherwise agreed upon.
