This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Oversee onboarding, employee lifecycle events, and terminations in Turkey and the MEA markets.
• Provide support to clients and employees regarding HR operations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and workforce-related inquiries throughout the MEA region.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) on Turkish labor laws, employment regulations, and payroll practices, while possessing knowledge of other MEA countries.
• Offer HR operational assistance across Middle Eastern and African countries, adapting to changing business and market demands.
• Handle sensitive employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and manage terminations within Turkey and the MEA regions.
• Evaluate employment contracts, amendments, and compliance documentation across regional markets.
• Assist with work permits, visa applications, mobility cases, and immigration paperwork across the MEA region.
• Collaborate with payroll providers, legal advisors, immigration vendors, and external partners across multiple countries.
• Facilitate performance improvement plans (PIPs), promotions, salary adjustments, and compensation-related processes throughout the region.
• Ensure operational continuity during workforce transitions, market fluctuations, and organizational transformations.
• Document operational processes and aid in effective knowledge transfer within the team.
• Promote automation, process enhancement, and AI integration initiatives within HR Operations.
• Contribute to global HR projects, standardization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably within EOR, PEO, HRO, or multinational settings.
• Proficiency in both Turkish and English is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of Turkish labor laws, with preferred experience in employment regulations across MEA countries.
• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations, terminations, and operational escalations across various countries.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic business environments.
• Experience in managing vendors and fostering cross-functional collaborations in regional markets.
• Technologically adept, with experience in HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Slack, and Zoom.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Business, or a related field is preferred.
