This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Rotate through various functions within a designated USAP practice and/or HR business unit.

• Acquire and apply essential skills in Human Resources by engaging in objective project deliverables aimed at benefiting both yourself and USAP.

• Act in a comprehensive HR role as a functional expert, business partner, and facilitator for the organization by utilizing your academic knowledge and personal skills.

• Foster professional relationships with staff, clinicians, and external clients.

• Approach policies and procedures with courtesy, enthusiasm, openness, and critical thinking.

• Connect and implement knowledge gained in academic settings within the corporate environment.

• Ensure consistency and punctuality in submitting all work assignments.

• Regularly meet with HR Leadership to gain insights, receive mentorship, share observations, and collaborate on key initiatives.

• Gain exposure to various HR functions through practical learning and job collaboration opportunities.

• Actively seek and utilize feedback to foster professional and personal growth throughout the internship.

• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and special projects to enhance HR knowledge and experience.

• Complete and deliver a final project summarizing key learnings, experiences, and recommendations from the internship.

• Exhibit professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality in every aspect of the role.

• Build cross-team relationships to broaden understanding of the organization and the HR profession.

• Potential travel to USAP offices for in-person team connections.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s-level Human Resources degree program.

• Prior experience in Human Resources is preferred.

• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards.

• Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining a "big picture" perspective.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
