Human Resources Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily staffing operations for a large group of BTs, ensuring adequate coverage for all client appointments and center requirements.

• Manage and enhance staff schedules, including real-time modifications for callouts, cancellations, and coverage shortages.

• Lead the orientation process for new hires at the center, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and integration into the team.

• Monitor staffing metrics (such as utilization, attendance, and cancellations) to guarantee operational efficiency.

• Act as the main point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing concerns with professionalism, discretion, and consistency.

• Coach, develop, and supervise direct reports, including conducting performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

• Cultivate a positive, accountable, and inclusive workplace that encourages retention and engagement.

• Collaborate with HR on complex employee relations issues, investigations, and compliance matters.

• Oversee center operations, encompassing inventory management, general workplace functionality, and coordination with the facility management team.

• Serve as a vital communication link between leadership, staff, and support departments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field).

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or a relevant fast-paced employee relations role.

• 3+ years of experience in operations, leading sizable teams (50+ employees) is essential.

• Experience in similar service-oriented environments is preferred.

• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is highly preferred.

• Strong leadership experience managing large teams (50+ employees) in a dynamic environment.

• Advanced skills in employee relations and conflict resolution.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a capacity to act independently.

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and coaching abilities.

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Ability to adapt to change and guide teams through organizational transitions.

• Proficiency with systems, scheduling tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
