This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the complete recruitment process for business professional roles, which includes job advertisements, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and tracking applications.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
β’ Manage the onboarding of new hires, covering offer letters, background checks, reference checks, pre-employment conditions, and scheduling orientations.
β’ Prepare and distribute necessary paperwork for new hires while ensuring accurate record-keeping.
β’ Facilitate new employee orientation in collaboration with HR leadership, IT, and practice group administrators.
β’ Monitor the completion of mandatory training and maintain training records in the HRIS.
β’ Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
β’ Securely and confidentially maintain personnel files, I-9 forms, and other employment records.
β’ Aid in the administration and communication of HR policies and procedures.
β’ Update employee handbooks and policy documents as necessary.
β’ Prepare and file regulatory documents and reports, including EEO-1 reports and OSHA logs.
β’ Coordinate both internal and external audits of HR records and practices.
β’ Address employment verification requests, unemployment claims, and inquiries from third parties.
β’ Serve as the initial contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace issues.
β’ Escalate intricate or sensitive employee-relations matters to HR management.
β’ Manage offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews, collecting firm property, and updating personnel records.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
β’ A minimum of three years of experience in human resources coordination or a similar administrative role is necessary.
β’ Experience in a law firm or professional services setting is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards is essential.
β’ Proven experience with HRIS platforms and a strong technical skill set.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
β’ Knowledgeable and experienced in the use of AI tools.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Capacity to interact professionally with attorneys, business professionals, and external contacts across all organizational levels.
β’ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
β’ Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
β’ Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
β’ Resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving.
β’ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Strong customer service orientation with a focus on collaboration and solutions.
β’ PHR, SHRM-CP, or another HR certification is preferred.
