• Serve as a reliable advisor to both managers and employees regarding HR policies, performance management, employee engagement, and career development.
• Act as the primary contact for daily employee inquiries related to HR processes, payroll, benefits, and company policies.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role requirements and craft engaging job descriptions.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers.
• Develop and sustain a robust talent pipeline, particularly for positions within the pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing sectors.
• Assist with employer branding efforts to establish P10 as a premier destination for innovative and strategic talent.
• Work alongside external recruiters as necessary, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates.
• Partner with leadership to create and execute learning, development, and engagement initiatives.
• Aid in the implementation of career frameworks, performance evaluations, and leadership development programs.
• Contribute to cultivating a culture of feedback, recognition, collaboration, and accountability that reflects P10’s values.
• Provide guidance to leaders to enhance their team's management and development.
• Manage essential HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee transitions, and leaves of absence.
• Ensure compliance with employment standards, benefits, and workplace regulations in the U.S. and Canada.
• Administer payroll across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and precision.
• Maintain tax and local accounts across various states, ensuring they remain in good standing.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams as required.
• Partner with the Fractional Head of HR to refine and implement HR policies and practices as the agency expands.
• Support initiatives that reinforce company culture, values, and employee engagement.
• Oversee benefits management, including open enrollment, and assist with decisions that enhance culture and employee retention.
• 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a high-growth, professional services or creative agency setting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and practices; Canadian experience is a plus.
• Direct experience in leading recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
• Proficiency in at least three of the following HR disciplines:
• Employee relations
• Performance management
• HR operations
• Learning & development
• Engagement programs
• Culture-building initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate trusted relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are continuously developed and enhanced.
