📋 Description

• Act as the main Associate Relations partner, providing guidance to leaders on performance management, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee issues.

• Mentor and advise leaders on effective associate management strategies, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary procedures.

• Investigate and resolve moderately to highly complex associate relations issues (e.g., performance challenges, policy breaches, harassment, discrimination), recommending compliant and suitable actions.

• Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, operational leaders, and legal counsel to ensure outcomes are consistent, fair, and legally compliant.

• Offer expertise on federal and state employment laws, assisting leaders in navigating compliance effectively.

• Foster a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment by promoting best practices, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

• Participate in associate relations training, policy revisions, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Over 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Associate Relations.

• Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, and federal and state employment laws.

• Proven ability to coach and counsel leaders on complex associate relations matters using sound judgment and discretion.

• Capability to assess risks, analyze situations, and provide clear, practical recommendations in line with company policies and legal standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when addressing sensitive issues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar business tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% as business needs dictate.
