Human Resources Associate – Relations Partner

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the main Associate Relations partner, providing guidance to leaders on performance management, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee issues.

β€’ Mentor and advise leaders on effective associate management strategies, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary procedures.

β€’ Investigate and resolve moderately to highly complex associate relations issues (e.g., performance challenges, policy breaches, harassment, discrimination), recommending compliant and suitable actions.

β€’ Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, operational leaders, and legal counsel to ensure outcomes are consistent, fair, and legally compliant.

β€’ Offer expertise on federal and state employment laws, assisting leaders in navigating compliance effectively.

β€’ Foster a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment by promoting best practices, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

β€’ Participate in associate relations training, policy revisions, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

β€’ Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or GED required.

β€’ Over 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Associate Relations.

β€’ Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, and federal and state employment laws.

β€’ Proven ability to coach and counsel leaders on complex associate relations matters using sound judgment and discretion.

β€’ Capability to assess risks, analyze situations, and provide clear, practical recommendations in line with company policies and legal standards.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management capabilities.

β€’ High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when addressing sensitive issues.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar business tools.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50% as business needs dictate.
