Human Resource Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee HR functions, including the creation of handbooks, drafting job descriptions, analyzing compensation, and handling compliance-related responsibilities.

β€’ Conduct interviews with clients and collaborate with HR Primary to create and finalize employee handbooks.

β€’ Complete I-9 Forms, verify necessary documentation, carry out audits, and maintain precise employee records.

β€’ Reconcile benefits statements and provide assistance with benefits administration.

β€’ Aid in recruitment coordination by tracking candidate statuses in HRIS systems and managing follow-up communications.

β€’ Execute general administrative and clerical tasks, such as preparing correspondence for clients and employees.

β€’ Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HRIS platforms (including Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, and similar systems).

β€’ Implement system configuration updates to support HR, payroll, and benefits programs.

β€’ Conduct system audits, testing, and diagnostics to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and operational functionality.

β€’ Identify and rectify system errors, data discrepancies, and integration challenges; escalate issues when necessary.

β€’ Assist with system implementations and ensure proper alignment with client HR programs.

β€’ Engage directly with clients as needed to support HR initiatives, system solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

β€’ Participate in client-facing meetings to facilitate discussions regarding HR and system-related topics, initiatives, and deliverables.

β€’ Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, Sales, and Managed Services, to achieve successful outcomes and recognize opportunities for additional services.

β€’ Identify and apply process and system enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.

β€’ Assist in the continuous optimization of workflows, automations, and service delivery models.

β€’ Perform other related duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.

β€’ A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is preferred.

β€’ Practical experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, or similar systems is required.

β€’ Experience in supporting system configurations, audits, or implementations is preferred.

β€’ SHRM-CP credential is preferred.

β€’ Experience in payroll and benefits is preferred.
